Degrees and Certifications:

Ms. Liz Bitar

My name is Ms. Bitar.  I am the art teacher at Arthur Intermediate. This will be my third year as the art teacher here at JAA.  Before I arrived at JAA, I taught elementary art in Fort Worth for 14 years.  Over the years, I have helped students to be recognized for their award winning artwork as well as having their artwork published. Prior to covid, JAA had a student's artwork on display at the Fort Worth Stock Show. Also, I am a KISD eCoach.

As a student athlete,  I earned my BFA at Texas Christian University while minoring in Business and French.  I returned to TCU as the assistant coach for the TCU Women’s Rifle Team.  I helped coach our girls to a NCAA National Championship Title that earned the team a trip to the White House.

The art program will focus on creating original artwork using the Elements of Art and Principles of Design while keeping the Studio Habits of Mind in mind.  This school year, there will be an after school Art Club on Mondays..

Thank you for taking the time to stop by my teacher page.  If you have any questions or comments, then please don’t hesitate to contact me.

Take Care,

Ms. Bitar
